Pundi Bitters.
Offering award-winning flavour, sample three bold bitters that speak of provenance, earth and origin.
For tens of thousands of years, First Peoples have understood the medicinal properties residing in the wood, leaves and fruits that grow natively on this land. We harvest and press these indigenous plants for their extracts to craft our bitters.
Elevate the contents of any glass with aromatic notes of warm smoked wood, air in the leaves and tangy fruit. Enhance the flavour of any cuisine or cocktail with the inclusion of these concentrated and fragrant botanical extracts.
The first of their kind to hero entirely indigenous Australian botanicals, our bitters invite you to understand the abundance of country, and the protection, nourishment and new life that these vital plants yield.
Ancient Wisdom. Modern Technology. Purposeful Produce.
Organic and sustainable farming that returns value to community.
That is the promise at Pundi Bitters, an aquaponic farm in the sun-drenched Riverland region of South Australia, where farmer and Yuin man, Dominic Smith, cultivates the native plants that go into Pundi Bitters.
Beyond growing unique Australian herbs and vegetables for national and international distribution, Pundi Produce celebrates the cultural heritage that food carries.
While taking from the land, giving back is equally important. Pundi Produce and Pundi Bitters are built on a model that improves community and environmental wellbeing, investing ongoingly to develop opportunities and programs for youth living in the region.
Pundi for health.
While Australian native foods are enjoying a resurgence within modern cuisine, indigenous Australians have known about their unique flavour profiles and medicinal properties for thousands of years.
Many native fruits and herbs are considered ‘super foods’, rich in vitamins and antioxidants known to combat inflammatory conditions, and diseases including Alzheimer’s and cancer. Our bitters, added to water or tea and enjoyed daily, may support in soothing a range of everyday ailments including headaches and digestive complaints.
Pundi to the people.

Pundi means “mouse” in the Ngarrindjeri language. A mouse is a tiny creature, seemingly inconsequential, and yet, integral to the ecosystem. Small, but making a big impact.
